August 2015: Roadtrip Day 4 - Pontevedra & Santiago de Compostela (Digital)

Last August Tiago and I went on a 13 day-roadtrip, during which we drove through the coast of Galicia to Picos de Europa, and then back to Portugal through Valladolid and Salamanca.

August 2015: Roadtrip Day 4 - Pontevedra & Santiago de Compostela (Film)

In August 2015, Tiago and I went on a 13 day-roadtrip, during which we drove through the coast of Galicia to Picos de Europa, and then back to Portugal through Valladolid and Salamanca.

On the fourth day, we went to Pontevedra and Santiago de Compostela. Both cities are beautiful, but Santiago is special, due to all the pilgrims and the life they bring to the city. We cheated, we arrived in Santiago de Compostela by car, but seeing all the pilgrims made me promise that one day I will arrive there by foot.

August 2015: Roadtrip Day 3 - Islas Cies & Vigo (Digital)

Last August Tiago and I went on a 13 day-roadtrip, during which we drove through the coast of Galicia to Picos de Europa, and then back to Portugal through Valladolid and Salamanca.

On the third day we took a trip to the Cies Islands, an archipelago just off the coast of Vigo. Don't be fooled by the beautiful tropical look of these beaches, the water was so cold it was impossible to stay in the sea for more than 2 minutes! 

At the end of the day we still had time for a stroll around Vigo, but I have to admit, it wasn't my favourite city to visit...

Last August Tiago and I went on a 13 day-roadtrip, during which we drove through the coast of Galicia to Picos de Europa, and then back to Portugal through Valladolid and Salamanca.

Last August Tiago and I went on a 13 day-roadtrip, during which we drove through the coast of Galicia to Picos de Europa, and then back to Portugal through Valladolid and Salamanca.

On the second day we explored a bit more of Portugal's hidden gems, Ponte de Lima and Valença. We crossed the river Minho and entered Spain, where we visited the small city of Tui.
